The Business development coordinators identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by generating leads, maintaining relationships, and coordinating promotional activities.
This position is responsible for ensuring appropriate coordination of care between internal and external providers, by enhancing and maintaining relationships with external providers.
This position will assist with marketing administrative duties.
Co-Management - Process fee tickets and create Transfer of Care forms.
EHR verification of co-management (event types labeled correctly, P-1 and post-op visits with EHR, future appointments at HEA (noted with TOCs to ommunicate to referring OD), patient status.
Forward chart notes to medical records for surgeons' review.
Visit referring and potential referring practices to promote business development.
CE Events - Participate and assist with CE events.
Prepare all application for all CE events.
Organize and document pending applications and approve courses, expiration dates, course ID numbers, presenter, course time, and presentation date, Coordination and calendar planning with HEA doctors (varies by provider) to host CE.
Plan and create 10 to 12 CE events per year.
Create and email unique CE certification per attendee with course ID code and attendee license number.
Document and save all reports and recording for records (registration, attendance, polls, quiz, surveys) Patient Webinars - Coordinate schedule with providers, Set-up Zoom webinar (date, description, unique links, invitations and survey) Marketing:
flyers, social media, website, email, respond to patient emails, download and save reports (registration, attendance, survey, Q&As) and recording.
Upload recording to youtube and email link to registration list.
Conducts regularly scheduled lunches (minimum of 8 a month) with referring providers to maintain relationships.
Referral Management System - Monitor incoming faxes via email and in the admin printer (scan faxed referrals to marketing folder).
Documenting and saving referrals in marketing shared folder (title by date, doctor, patient's last name) Upload document to Phreesia, Monitor Phreesia transcriptions of referrals to ensure information is correct, Monitor and reply to Phreesia chats with referring offices, Notify OD office if we are unable to reach patients by fax (includes letter) or Phreesia (chat feature) Marketing - Provide assistance with Social media/email marketing, TV interviews that take place monthly, provide community sponsorship, Provide assistance with Social media/email marketing, TV interviews that take place monthly, provide community sponsorship coordination, Maintains necessary inventory of promotional and educational materials for internal and other providers / staff.
Distributes to internal and external providers.
Assist with gathering and presenting information on local relevant activity, including identifying new potential referral sources, competition, demographics, etc.
Responsible for being a Harvard Eye ambassador and overseeing locations for business development.
Performs other functions and duties as required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
