Safety Attendant Behavioral - Emergency Department - Per-Diem, Days

The Emergency Department at Saddleback Memorial Laguna Hillsis a 31 bed unit. The EmergencyDepartment is a STEMI receiving center and is certified as an advanced primarystroke center.
This position is responsible for enhancing the quality of care provided to patients presenting with emotional/behavioral issues to the emergency department by expediting evaluation, treatment, and disposition. Enhances safety in the emergency department by providing personalized care and attention to behavioral health patients. Assist the registered nurse and physician in the provision of patient care of the non-behavioral health patient including oral care, patient data collection, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting, physical examination preparation and vital signs when time permits. Participates in quality patient care delivery, efficient patient flow and effective communication with health care team.
Experience:
Emergency department technician or behavioral healthcare experience required.
Electronic Health Record experience (EPIC) preferred.
Education/License/Certification
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
EMT or CA Certified Nursing Assistant required
CPI/MAB certification required (within 6 months of hire)
AHA Basic Life Support certification required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
