Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) II - NICU - Per-Diem, Nights

This position is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery and flexibility to enhance delivery of patient care.
This position requires the full understanding of and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Saddleback Memorial Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the performance improvement plan.
Minimum of 3 experience as a respiratory therapist in critical care. Must be proficient in adult critical care (e.g. ICU, Emergency, and PACU). Must be experienced in bedside diagnostic testing, respiratory assessment, and advanced modes of mechanical ventilation. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
This position requires experience and training in at least one (1) of the specialty areas of the department. These areas include advanced practice in the following:
Pulmonary Lab
Relief Clinical Coordinator
Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy
Current California license from Respiratory Care Board (RCP)
NRP (If working in NICU)
NPS preferred
ACCS preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
